Waldorf Salad

INGREDIENTS

Apple                                   500 gm
Walnuts                                100 gm
Celery                                  100 gm
Egg yolk                                2 nos
Olive oil/ salad oil               250 ml
Salt                                      5 gm
White pepper powder          5 gm
Lettuce                                100 gm





PROCEDURE


1. Dice apple evenly and roast walnuts.
2. Blanch and deskin celery. Dice them similar to the size of apple.
3. Prepare mayonnaise with the help of egg yolk, salad oil or olive oil, lemon juice and seasoning.
4. Toss apple, celery and walnuts with mayonnaise.
5. Arrange the salad on lettuce leaves.
6. Garnish it with walnut, celery or parsley sprig.
